Cleaning Central New York carpet and upholstery the right way — with chemistry your family can live with and equipment that actually pulls the dirt out.
Steven Reith
Founder & Lead Technician
“Every carpet we clean is a canvas of renewal. When a customer sees their floor at the end of a job and says it looks new — that's the whole point.”
Steven started Syracuse Carpet Cleaning Co. after working for other carpet companies in Central New York and seeing the same patterns — surface cleaning passed off as deep work, mystery upcharges at the door, residue-heavy chemistry that made carpet re-soil within weeks.
He built the company on a different model: one professional extraction equipment, one set of plant-based solutions, one honest quote, owner on every job. The company cleans Greater Syracuse homes, offices, medical buildings, and rental turnovers — with 24-hour emergency dispatch for the calls that can't wait until morning.
Today the business is still owner-operated, still locally based, and still doing only carpet, rugs, and upholstery. Nothing else.
Steven is the lead technician on residential jobs and the foreman on every commercial scope. You don't get a different crew every visit.
Quoted before the work, never on the day. No 'deep clean upgrade' upsells once the truck is in your driveway.
Standard chemistry is biodegradable, low-VOC, and certified for indoor air quality. Fragrance-free on request.
Based in Syracuse, serving the towns we live in. Not a franchise. Not a national chain.
“I cannot recommend Steven enough! His communication was excellent, his prices fair and his work was thorough. He was very kind and compassionate dealing with me and some issues I had with my elderly father’s home. Steven was awesome!!!”
